Provided are embedded touchscreen and display device utilizing the principle of self-capacitance; a self-capacitance electrode (06) on the same layer as the pixel electrode (05) is arranged in the gap at each of the touchscreen pixel electrodes (05); during a period of touch control, a touch detection chip (04) can determine the position of the touch control by means of detecting the change in capacitance of each capacitor electrode (06). The touchscreen is based on an array substrate preparation process and does not require any additional processes, thus saving production costs and improving productivity.
