The present invention relates to a composition capable of preventing, treating or improving skin diseases. The composition may comprise Cassiae Semen extract and Hovenia dulcis extract at a dry weight ratio of 1:0.5-5, and further comprise one or more herbal medicinal extracts selected from a group consisting of Leek seed extract, Astragalus membranaceu extract, Angelica Gigas extract, Puerariae Radix extract, Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz extract, peony extract, dried orange peel extract and licorice extract. Since the composition of the present invention is composed of plant extracts which have been used as edible extracts for a long time, it is safe to take the composition for a long period of time. Also, since the composition of the present invention does not have the side effects of steroids, it can be used effectively for improvement of incurable skin diseases such as atopy, psoriasis, eczema, keratosis, prurigo, water warts and so on. |
