PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shift a valve device using a float from a valve closed state to a valve opening state in a more smooth and secure manner.SOLUTION: A valve device includes: a float F; and a case H storing the float F and forms a part of a ventilation passage of a fuel tank T. The float F includes: a float main body; and a valve body 1 which is tiltably provided on the float main body. The valve body 1 includes: a seal part 1a which closes a valve port 5a formed in the case H when the float F moves up; a hook part 1b which hooks on a part of the float main body and becomes a center of tilting; and a contact part 1j' which protrudes on the rear side of the seal part 1a. The contact part 1j' contacts with a contacted part 2j of the float main body by the tilting and thereby causes the valve body 1 to move in a horizontal direction x. |
