PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain paint and thinner from intruding into a rotary driving source of a rotary atomization head.SOLUTION: A bell 2 has a bulkhead 10 provided in the rear of a bell hub 4, and has a coating space 12 formed between the bulkhead 10 and the bell hub 4. Paint is fed to a coating space 12 from a feed tube 14 extended through a central opening 10a of the bulkhead 10. A ring-shaped liquid reservoir 20 is formed on a rear surface of the bulkhead 10. The bell 2 has a plurality of liquid return passages 40 communicating with the liquid reservoir 20 and the coating space 12. Each of the liquid return passages 40 is extended in such a manner as to be inclined in the state of being widen forward from the liquid reservoir 20.
