PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine control device capable of suppressing the occurrence of knocking in an internal combustion engine in which two types of fuels different in octane number are injected.SOLUTION: A control device 1 of an internal combustion engine 3 including a second variable cam phase mechanism 9 capable of changing valve timing of intake valves 4a and 4b so as to set different timing to the intake valves 4a and 4b from each other; and first and second injection valves 11 and 12 injecting ethanol and gasoline, respectively, comprises an ECU 2. The ECU 2 controls the second variable cam phase mechanism 9 so that the valve timing of the first intake valve 4a is earlier than the valve timing of the second intake valve 4b (step 13); controls the first fuel injection valve 11 so as to inject the ethanol at predetermined first timing after timing at which the first intake valve 4a starts to open (step 4); and controls the second fuel injection valve 12 so as to inject the gasoline at predetermined second timing later than the predetermined first timing (step 4). |
