The purpose of the invention is to obtain a metal closing type switch gear, the workability of which is improved and the size of which can be reduced by reducing the number of places where a cable is bent. The switch gear comprises: an external line cable (1) led in from the outside of a chassis (8) housing an electric device into the inside thereof and including a plurality of cable conductors (11) each having a cable terminal (3) provided on an end thereof; a cable bracket (2) for fixing the external line cable (1) to the chassis in the vicinity of a lead-in portion; a terminal connection portion (5) for electrically connecting the cable terminal (3) to the electric device; and a connection member (6) formed of a conductor set between the terminal connection portion (5) and the cable terminal (3). The connection member (6) has a joint surface (6b) joined to the cable terminal (3) and bent so as to be along the line connecting the terminal connection portion (5) and the cable bracket (2) under the condition that the connection member (6) is fixed to the terminal connection portion (5). |
