PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle detector capable of more accurately detecting a rotation position of a rotor of a motor, as compared with the conventional techniques.SOLUTION: A signal level detection unit 140 detects a signal level of a sensor processing signal whose level is closest to a peak level of a plurality of sensor processing signals U1, V1, W1, and generates a detection level signal showing the detected signal level to output the detection level signal. A signal level adjustment unit 160 adjusts, in a lump, signal levels of the plurality of sensor processing signals U1, V1, W1 so as to make the detected signal level agree with a predetermined adjustment level Ladj 1, and outputs the adjusted signal levels as a plurality of sensor processing signals U2, V2, W2. A phase detection unit 30 detects that a signal level of a selection signal X selected by a signal selection unit 20 has arrived at a threshold value level Lth corresponding to a predetermined phase of a rotor, and outputs a phase information signal PhC showing a phase corresponding to the threshold value level by which the arrival has been detected. |
