METHOD FOR ADDING BINDER TO SINTERING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adding a binder to a sintering material making a fine powder raw material having a poorly granulating property usable by efficiently improving a granulating property without increasing the used amount of the binder of caustic lime or hydrated lime.SOLUTION: A binder is added to a sintering raw material on a raw material transportation conveyor arranged at least in an agitator or in an upstream side of the agitator when the binder consisting of one or two of caustic lime and hydrated lime is added to a sintering raw material using a fine powdery raw material which is a powdery ore having a particle size of under 500 μm of 50 mass% or more and under 10 μm of 5 mass% or less as an iron ore with the amount of 0.5 mass% or more to 6 mass% or less by externally multiple of the total amount of the sintering raw material in terms of caustic lime and stirred with a stirrer and granulated with a granulator (excluding a method of mixing and spraying the binder to air or water for transportation and a method of spraying air or water to the binder dropping from a feeder).
