PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of improving user-friendliness.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has an outer casing which includes imaging lenses disposed therein. The outer casing has a cylindrical part which has an outer shape in cross section perpendicular to the optical axis of the imaging lens shaped in a generally circular shape and a rolling prevention part which is formed protruding outward in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis relative to the cylindrical part. The rolling prevention part is formed on the lower face side pf the cylindrical part. A central part of the rolling prevention part in a right-left direction is positioned being displaced in a right or left direction relative to the central part of the cylindrical part in a right-left direction. With this, the imaging apparatus is prevented from rolling by the rolling prevention part; and the imaging apparatus is capable of taking an image with holding the rolling prevention part at the time of imaging. When the imaging apparatus is not used, the imaging apparatus is stored in a stable state. When the imaging apparatus is used, the imaging apparatus is stably held. Thus, the user-friendliness of the imaging apparatus is improved. |
