PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of abnormality detection by using data with high reliability which does not include calculation information for detection of abnormality presence/absence of communication means which performs mutual monitoring of microprocessors made to be duplex for monitoring abnormality in a system.SOLUTION: A vehicle steering control device includes: mutual monitoring parts 23, 24 for performing abnormality monitoring between main, sub microprocessors 14, 15; and communication means 35 for receiving/transmitting comparison data between these mutual monitoring parts 23, 24. In order to determine whether the communication means 35 is normal or abnormal, the main, sub microprocessors 14, 15 acquire first data which does not include calculation information and which can be acquired from a steering device 12 into comparison value storage parts 25, 26. One microprocessor 14 includes a comparison monitoring part 27 for comparing second data, which is data received from the other microprocessor 15 via the communication means 35, with the first data. |
