The invention relates to a case for a mobile terminal including a securing element for the user's fingers in order to prevent the mobile terminal from being dropped. The case comprises a base (1) covering at least part of the rear face of a mobile terminal and including at least one recess and a hinged flange (3) of identical size and shape to the recess (2). The hinged flange (3) can pivot between a rest position in which it is in the recess (2) and a securing position in which it is inclined in relation to the base (1). A resilient element (4) forms a securing means which is connected to both the hinged flange (3) and the base (1) and exerts a force on the hinged flange (3) returning same to the rest position.
