PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically photograph a moving body fast stably at the best imaging position without using any additional measurement device nor stopping the moving body from moving.SOLUTION: An image of a work 9 is formed such that an imaging range of an image sensor 2 is moved in a fixed direction, and the image sensor 2 picks up the image of the work 9 at an imaging position and outputs image data in a predetermined output format. The image sensor 2 is so set as to output the image data of an extraction region arranged on a side that an image of a moving body in the imaging range of the image sensor enters while a pixel size or pixel density is smaller than the output format. According to a pixel value of the image data of the extraction region, it is detected whether the position of the moving body reaches the front of the imaging position. When the arrival of the moving body is detected, the image sensor 2 is switched to a mode in which the image data is output in the output format to output the image data. |
