PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate discrimination between two signals of the same wavelength band used for different purposes.SOLUTION: An instruction pen outputs an optical signal of weak level when a switch is in a first state, and outputs an optical signal of strong level when the switch is in a second state. An IR camera outputs positional information on the optical signal, when an optical signal of signal level greater than a predetermined threshold value is detected, on the basis of an imaging signal obtained in an imaging unit for imaging the optical signal outputted from the instruction pen. This technique can be applied to the IR camera connected to a projector, for example. |
