PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system with no burner.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 1 comprises a fuel cell 11, a quality-modifying device 12, a combustor 13, a chemical heat-accumulation device 14, a water-supplying part 22, 23, 32, an evacuation part 24, a fuel supplying part 21, 31 and a control part 51. The chemical heat-accumulation device 14 is disposed so as to enable the heat conduction between the heat-accumulation device per se and the quality-modifying device 12 and the combustor 13, and has a heat storage agent-enclosing space for enclosing a chemical heat storage agent which causes a dehydration reaction when absorbing heat, and generates heat owing to a hydration reaction. By switching the water-supply-side switching part 23 so as to cut off the supply of water W1 from the supply source 32 to the chemical heat-accumulation device 14, and switching the exhaust-side switching part 24 so as to stop the evacuation of water vapor W2 from the chemical heat-accumulation device 14, a sealed space is formed by the heat storage agent-enclosing space, and inner spaces of an exhaust line L8 and a hydration-water-supply line L22. |
