LIQUID FERTILIZER CONTAINING METHIONINE AND UREA AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid fertilizer containing methionine and urea which does not cause problems of crystal precipitation of methionine and emission of ammonia, its production method and a cultivation method of crops using it.SOLUTION: A liquid fertilizer comprises 1.0-4.0 wt.% of methionine, 1.0-4.0 wt.% of urea and 50.0-85.0 wt.% of water and has a pH at 25°C of 1.8-3.0. The liquid fertilizer preferably contains further 1.0-5.0 wt.% of at least one amino acid selected from glutamic and aspartic acids and/or 4.0-10.0 wt.% of at least one acid ingredient selected from nitric and phosphoric acid to adjust the pH to 1.0-3.0.
