PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus operation system capable of improving operability while corresponding to various operation specifications with the same ring-shaped operation member and an imaging device.SOLUTION: An apparatus operation system includes: a ring-shaped operation unit 113 capable of performing uniform operation about the center of rotation; a conversion unit 105 configured to perform conversion such that a change in operation results relative to the amount of rotation becomes non-uniform between a first operation position regarding rotation of the ring-shaped operation unit 113 and a second operation position regarding rotation of the ring-shaped operation unit 113; and a notification unit 114 configured to perform notification based on conversion results by the conversion unit 105.
