A plant for managing green tyres includes two building lines of green tyres, two storages and two curing lines, each including a plurality of curing moulds. Each storage is directly connected to a curing line, forming a respective assembly therewith. The two storages are operatively associated with each other by means of an exchange area including a station for processing green tyres. A control unit is programmed for detecting the availability of a curing mould; selecting, within any of the storage, a green tyre suitable for the available curing mould and transferring the selected green tyre to the available curing mould, possibly passing through the exchange area between the storages or through the exchange area between the curing lines. |
