The present invention patent application relates to a water heater having an extremely low electric energy consumption and high energy efficiency. It uses a new method or process for harvesting and re-using the thermal energy present in wastewater, and transferring this thermal energy to the water supply circuit of the heater. It comprises a thermal energy harvesting module (3) installed in the floor, a thermal energy transfer module (1) installed in the water supply inlet, and a control module (2) for electrically and electronically monitoring and regulating the entire heating unit. The entire device is designed as a single assembly for installation in the same location, and does not require qualified personnel for the installation thereof, whatever the variations in the model, location or design of the heater modules. |
