PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensing device which is reduced in an influence of a process variation and signal coupling interference, and improved in detection accuracy, and a sensing method.SOLUTION: A sensing device has a sensing cell and a processing circuit. The sensing cell is arranged inside a display panel, and a first type sensing device generates a first type sensing signal when the sensing cell detects an input event. A second type sensing device adjoins the first type sensing device, and generates a second type sensing signal when the sensing cell detects the input event. A detection capacity of the first type sensing device which detects the input event differs from a detection capacity of the second type sensing device. The processing circuit is connected to the sensing cell, and outputs a sensing output signal corresponding to the sensing cell following a difference between the first type sensing signal and the second type sensing signal. |
