PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling an induction motor which increases the slip frequency of an induction motor and thereby enhances magnetic flux estimation performance, by changing the size of magnetic flux current so as to be adjusted to the driving status of the induction motor.SOLUTION: A control apparatus of the present invention generates d-axis and q-axis current commands of a synchronous reference frame from a torque command, estimates speed of a rotor of a motor, and corrects the d-axis and q-axis current commands by using the estimated speed, thereby increasing a slip frequency to enhance a rotor position and speed estimation performance. |
