PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: if an image forming operation is performed when a belt unit is not attached to a body, paper jam may occur.SOLUTION: When a belt unit 10 is not attached to an apparatus body 1a, in closing an opening/closing member 40 with respect to the apparatus body 1a, a switching member 41 cannot press a switch 61; when the belt unit 10 is attached to the apparatus body 1a, the opening/closing member 40 is closed with respect to the apparatus body 1a to causes the switching member 41 to press the switch 61, thereby lifting the prohibition of an image forming operation. |
