PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type vehicle in which an engine and a throttle body are disposed in a lower portion of a luggage box to configure a motor deceleration assembly, capable of accommodating a helmet in the luggage box with a protruding portion contained therein without increasing the size of the luggage box.SOLUTION: An electric motor 6 of a motor deceleration assembly is disposed in a lower portion of a throttle body 1 so as to be held between an engine 22 and an intake passage 2, an attachment flange 1f whose upper portion projects toward a luggage box 24 is continuously provided on an outer circumference of one side portion of the throttle body 1, a cover 12 defining a deceleration mechanism chamber 13 between the cover 12 and the throttle body 1 is joined to the attachment flange 1f, an upper protruding portion 27 receiving the upper portion of the attachment flange 1f is formed on a bottom wall 24a of the luggage box 24, and the throttle body 1 is configured so that an axis of the intake passage 2 is arranged on one side in a vehicle width direction from a center Y in the vehicle width direction and that the cover 12 is arranged on the other side from the center Y in the vehicle width direction. |
