PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately correct the opening property of a throttle valve even if deposit is accumulated.SOLUTION: A throttle flow property is corrected to a property approximated to a predetermined secondary curve using a learned value at a first throttle opening degree &thetas;1 as well as a learned value at a minimum throttle opening degree &thetas;2 and a learned value at a maximum throttle opening degree &thetas;3 in a throttle valve opening degree range (between the throttle opening degrees &thetas;2 and &thetas;3) greatly influenced by the accumulation of deposit. As a result, even if deposit is accumulated, it is possible to accurately correct the opening property of a throttle valve and accurately correct an air flow volume in all the opening degree ranges of the throttle valve in response to the accumulated deposit. |
