PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shovel capable of appropriately controlling a rotating operation of a super structure 3 even when a combined operation including rotating manipulation is performed in a slope.SOLUTION: A shovel of an embodiment of the present invention includes an engine 11 for driving a main pump 14, a motor generator 12 coupled to the engine 11, a capacitor 19, a motor for rotation 21 for driving a super structure 3 by using at least one of electric power generated by the motor generator 12 and power stored in the capacitor 19, a controller 30 for controlling the motor for rotation 21, and a slope sensor M2 for detecting a slope angle &thetas; of a shovel body. The controller 30 changes the maximum output of the motor for rotation 21 according to the slope angle &thetas; when a combined operation including rotating manipulation is performed. |
