PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to cut a reinforced fiber backing with high dimensional accuracy while reducing influence of heat on the reinforced fiber backing.SOLUTION: A reinforced fiber backing is cut by irradiating a laser beam LB to reinforced fiber fabric cloth woven out of yarn consisting of reinforced fiber such as carbon fiber, or to the reinforced fiber backing consisting of a laminate material 10 that is a laminate of the reinforced fiber fabric cloth. The laser beam LB is irradiated several times to a cutting plane line 20 along which the reinforced fiber backing is cut.
