PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of washing using an automatic washing machine while preventing bubble generation caused by a bubble source adhering to an object to be washed.SOLUTION: In a washing method, an object to be washed to which a bubble source adheres is introduced into an automatic washing machine together with a detergent composition and the object to be washed is washed using the automatic washing machine. The detergent composition contains a nonionic surfactant having a structure represented by following formula (1). (wherein, Ris a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; Rand Rare a hydrocarbon group which may contain an ether bond; Rand Rmay form a ring; AOs are oxyalkylene groups which may be same or different; and n represents the average addition mole number of the oxyalkylene groups and is a number of 1-400.) |
