PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform reprinting by a simple operation, in which the waste of sheets is suppressed to the minimum, even when a printed sheet is mistakenly mixed in a sheet cassette selected for double-sided printing.SOLUTION: A determination section causes a sheet reading section to read sheets ejected to an ejection tray after execution of double-sided printing, compares the read image data with the image data of image formation objects, and determines a page of image data in which an image is formed on a surface on which an image has been formed. Then, when there is image data in which an image is formed on a surface on which an image has been formed, an operation control section causes a sheet feed section to feed a sheet stored in a sheet cassette before or after feed, from a manual tray, of a sheet having an image formed thereon, which is based on a page of the image data determined by the determination section, and causes an image forming section to form an image on the basis of the page of the image data determined by the determination section. |
