PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation resulting from contact with a mating terminal.SOLUTION: Terminal fitting 10 has a pair of connection parts, and the terminal fitting 10 is inserted between these connection parts. Each contact part 16 has a fulcrum part 21, and a first contact part 22 and a second contact part 23 arranged on both sides of the fulcrum part 21 and next to each other in the direction in which a mating terminal 80 is inserted. When the mating terminal 80 is inserted between both the contact parts 16, the contact parts 16 are elastically deformed in a seesaw manner around the fulcrum part 21 so that the first contact part 22 comes into contact with the mating terminal 80 and is displaced in the direction in which the first contact part 22 draws back from an insertion path 55 and so that the second contact part 23 comes into contact with the mating terminal 80 and is displaced in the direction in which the second contact part 23 approaches the insertion path 55. |
