PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device with which it is possible to provide a user with information in a form in which the whole and details are well-balanced, and to realize display close to the actual line of sight of the user.SOLUTION: A multi-function display device on board a ship is configured so as to store various information such as a target, a user-registered place, and a landmark, etc., together with the position of the information. The control unit of this multi-function display device makes a perspective plot area 51 and a horizontal plot area 52 displayed at the same time. In the perspective plot area 51, the information is displayed so that its display position goes upward in correspondence to an increase in the distance from the ship to the position of the information. In the horizontal plot area 52, the information is displayed so that the display position in the lateral direction is changed in accordance with the bearing of the information from the ship, and the display position in the vertical direction is maintained constant irrespective of the distance from the ship. |
