A molecularly imprinted polymer for capturing a chemical substance to be detected, and a production method thereof are provided; also provided are a chemical substance detection method and detection device which use the molecularly imprinted polymer to identify said chemical substance quickly, with high sensitivity and at low cost. These molecularly imprinted polymer particles of a steroid hormone comprise a polymer which interacts with the aforementioned steroid hormone. Ideally, the polymer includes two or more functional groups which interact with the steroid hormone on the polymerization units. |
