A method for producing porous ceramic according to an embodiment includes a molding step, a freezing step, a drying step, and a firing step. In the molding step, a molded body is formed by discharging a green body. In the freezing step, the molded body is frozen to form a frozen body including ice. In the drying step, the frozen body is dried to form a dried body from which ice is removed. In the firing step, the dried body is fired. The green body is a ceramic material, which includes ceramic particles, a binder, and water, that is mixed and kneaded. |
