The wrapped tobacco rod (1) and the filter (2, 3) are connected by a tipping paper (4) which overwraps the filter (2, 3) and a part of the wrapped tobacco rod (1). The outer-plug wrap (3) is opaque and comprises activated carbon. The tipping paper (4) is provided with at least one opening (5) which exposes the surface of the outer plug wrap (3).</p>
