<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a solar cell sealing material containing an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer and a silane coupling agent, being excellent in heat resistance, transparency and flexibility and having sufficient balance of rigidity and crosslinking efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The resin composition for the solar cell sealing material is provided, which is characterized in that it contains the ethylene/α-olefin copolymer component (A) having characteristic of the following (a1)-(a5) and the silane coupling agent component (B). (a1): The density is 0.860-0.920 g/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>; (a2): the ratio (Mz/Mn) of the Z-average molecular weight (Mz) and the number-average molecular weight (Mn) determined by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is 8.0 or less; (a3): the melt viscosity (η<SP POS="POST">*</SP><SB POS="POST">1</SB>) measured at 100°C at a shear rate of 2.43×10 s<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>is 1.2×10<SP POS="POST">5</SP>poise or higher; (a4): the melt viscosity (η<SP POS="POST">*</SP><SB POS="POST">2</SB>) measured at 100°C at a shear rate of 2.43×10<SP POS="POST">2</SP>s<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>is 2.0×10<SP POS="POST">4</SP>poise or higher; and (a5): the branch number (N) by the co-monomer in the polymer satisfies an expression (a). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
