<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt cleaning device capable of removing dirt of a mesh belt without requiring washing water. <P>SOLUTION: This belt cleaning device 200 is formed in an endless belt shape, and cleans a mesh belt 210 for mounting a workpiece W and conveying the same. Further, the belt cleaning device 200 includes a first column brush member 220 and a second column brush member 230. The first column brush member 220 is arranged in a region where the workpiece W is not mounted, and in slide contact with the mounting surface of the workpiece W in the mesh belt 210.
