<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support holding device capable of improving its workability when moving a mounted object such as a side panel along the horizontal direction of a wall surface while improving its strength to hold the mounted object, and to provide a walled storage device equipped therewith. <P>SOLUTION: A support holding member 2 includes upper and lower guide rails 3, 3 in which sliding grooves 31, 31 opening forward are provided along the longitudinal directions and which are arranged approximately horizontal along a wall surface 6 at intervals in the vertical direction, and upper and lower holding members 4, 4A slidable along the sliding grooves of the guide rails for holding a support 5 formed long in the vertical direction, at its upper and lower ends, respectively.
