<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small connector for a differential signal capable of reducing a skew of a differential signal pair. <P>SOLUTION: A connector for a differential signal includes plural pairs of contacts 22 for signals; plural grounding contacts 23; and an insulative housing 24 holding the contacts for the signals and the grounding contacts. On a first connection side for connecting with a connection party, the grounding contacts are arranged on both sides of each pair of the contacts for the signals, so as to form a contact row at a constant pitch. Meanwhile, on a second connection side for connecting with a substrate, the plural grounding contacts are isolated from each other in a first row R1, and a pair of the contacts for the signals arranged on both sides of the grounding contacts on the first connection side are distributed in a second row R2 and a third row R3 positioned on both sides of the first row.
