An unmanned vehicle driving apparatus capable of avoiding an obstacle and a method therefor are disclosed. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the unmanned vehicle driving apparatus comprises: a route setting unit generating or receiving a basic driving route of a vehicle and generating the moving-driving route where a route moving value is added or subtracted to avoid an obstacle during vehicle driving; an obstacle detection unit detecting the obstacle during driving; and a route driving unit enabling a vehicle to drive on the basic driving route and enabling the vehicle to drive on the moving-driving route to avoid the obstacle when the obstacle is detected.
