Provided is a social sensor system for a sensor web capable of using social stream data in a sensor web. According to the present invention, the social sensor system comprises: a social stream input unit which receives social stream data in a social network through a network; a social stream analyzing unit which analyzes the received social stream data; a social sensor model generating unit which generates or updates a social sensor model based on the analyzed social stream data; and a social sensor data converting unit which converts the analyzed social stream data into social sensor data based on the social sensor model.
