<p>A locking member included in a slide lock device of a slide rail device of the present invention engages with or disengages from a lock groove of a lower rail by vertically changing the position of a lock unit, with a supported unit engaging with a supporting unit provided in an upper rail being a fulcrum, the locking member being biased in the direction of engagement with the lock groove. The upper rail is provided with a pair of supporting units having different widthwise positions, one of the supporting units being a base support unit for laterally and vertically fixing the supported unit in position with respect to the upper rail by abutting the supported unit, the other supporting unit being an escape supporting unit with which the supported unit engages and having a larger clearance than the base support unit. Rattling of the locking mechanism against the upper rail is thus mitigated, and assembly of the locking mechanism is made more efficient.</p> |
