<p>[Problem] To reduce, using a simple structure, an adverse effect caused by the torsion of a tether connected to an airbag. [Solution] This curtain airbag device is provided with: an airbag which is received in a roof side rail and which, in an emergency, expands in a curtain-like shape within the vehicle interior at a position near a window; and a tether which has one end connected to the airbag and has the other end connected to the vehicle. The tether has a first connection section which is connected to the airbag and a second connection section which is connected to the vehicle. Either the first connection section and/or the second connection section of the tether is configured so as to include sewing. The sewn shape of the tether is configured so that the width of the tether gradually decreases toward the center of the tether.</p> |
