An image forming apparatus, comprising a main body (1), a fusing unit (40) mounted in the main body to fuse an image to paper (P), a cover (60) mounted to the main body, a heat shielding member (70) mounted adjacent to an inner surface of the cover and having an inclined surface inclined downward with respect to the cover to promote circulation of hot air by convection and reduce heating of the cover.
