The present invention relates to a wavelength conversion member which comprises a light emitting part made of a mixture which includes a transparent or semi-transparent polymer material and phosphor, and a reflecting layer which is stacked on part of the surface of the light emitting part. The wavelength conversion member which converts light from a light source by using the phosphor, and emits converted light to a desired direction, can use effectively light emitted to an undesired direction without loss among light emitted from the phosphor of the wavelength conversion member.
