The present invention relates to a core-shell fuel electrode for a solid oxide fuel cell, a method for manufacturing the same, and a cell-stack for a segmented-in-series solid oxide fuel cell by using the same. The present invention is to manufacture a nano-sized core-shell fuel electrode by using nickel (Ni)-metal (Fe, Co, Cu, etc.) alloy powder as a core and using yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) powders as a shell, with a hydrazine reducing agent and a surface active agent, so as to be used as a fuel electrode for a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). The prepared powders have uniform nano-size, form a nanocomposite structure having a continuous network between each other, and suppress volume shrinkage and carbon deposition under the reducing atmosphere, thus the long-term stability, thermal cycle stability, and oxidation-reduction stability are greatly improved. In addition, if liquid slurry is used when coating nano-sized powders, the uniform distribution or thickness formation is impossible due to agglomeration between particles. Therefore, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cell-stack for a segmented-in-series solid oxide fuel cell having a uniform thickness by producing and layering solid core-shell fuel electrodes. |
