According to an embodiment of the present invention, the document management system comprises: a digital multifunction printer for transmitting a digitalized document including one or more from a scanned scan document and a received fax document to a document management server; a document management server for storing and managing the digitalized document transmitted from the digital multifunction printer; and a client terminal capable of reading the digitalized document by accessing the document management server.
