FOLDED COMPOSITE FILLER AND METHOD FOR ITS MANUFACTURE

A composite filler (1204) and a method for its manufacture. A composite ply (1239) is folded. The composite ply (1239) comprises fibers arranged at an angle relative to a central axis of the composite ply such that the composite filler (1204) has a varying cross-sectional orientation of fibers. A force is applied to the folded composite ply (1239) after folding to form a desired shape for the composite filler(1204).
