<p>The device for manipulating objects (2), in particular sacks, by means of suction comprises a hollow body (3) having a contact portion (4) suitable for coming into contact with a surface of the objects (2); vacuum generating means (7) and contact detecting means for detecting contact between the contact portion (4) and the surface of the objects (2). The vacuum generating means (7) are operatively connected to the inside of the hollow body (3) for generating a vacuum suitable for causing adherence of a portion of the surface of the objects (2) to the contact portion (4). The means for detecting the contact between the contact portion (4) and the surface the objects (2) are operationally connected to the vacuum generating means (7) so as to activate the vacuum generating means (7) after contact has been made.</p> |
