The invention relates to an acoustic receiving device (20) for receiving multichannel acoustic transmission data in an acoustic data transmission system, comprising:
- an acoustic transducer (21) having multiple resonance frequencies for receiving acoustic transmission data containing multiple sub data streams each modulated onto a respective carrier frequency and for providing an input data stream related thereto;
- a matching means (26, 51) configured to perform a normalization so that the signal strengths of each signal portion representing one of the sub data streams in the input data stream are made substantially equal for demodulation of the multiple sub data streams; and
- means for processing (24) the normalized data stream with respect to the multiple carrier frequencies to obtain an output data stream. |
