The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for processing a call and, specifically, to a method for performing call processing by using periodic tracking area update procedures when reception data with respect to a user terminal having a released wireless section occurs, and an apparatus for the same. The apparatus for processing a call according to the present invention determines whether a mobility management entity (MME) receives a tracking area update (TAU) request message from the user terminal during the paging process between the MME and the user terminal, and performs reset of wireless resources for the released wireless section between the MME and the user terminal by using an initial setup request message, when the MME has received the TAU request message from the user terminal. |
