A flat-pack box 10, which can be disassembled and assembled, comprising; at least three sidewalls 30, 60, 90, a base 20, a lid 40, and at least three removably insertable side locking rods 100. The base and at least one sidewall comprise base connection means (26, 21, figures 2-4) for releasably connecting the at least one sidewall with the base, and each sidewall comprises side connection means (61, 71, figure 5) arranged to accept the insertion of a side locking rod, such that with the box at least partially assembled each side locking rod releasably retains two adjacent sidewalls together, and wherein the box is arranged such that with the lid in the closed position the side locking rods are prevented from being removed. The box may be lockable and the lid may have means (49, figure 8) for receiving a side locking rod to retain the lid in an open position. |
