PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum washing machine that uses hot water and is highly safe for a user.SOLUTION: A drum washing machine includes: a water circulation system 56 for jetting to circulate washing water in a water tub 42 from a jet port 70 provided on the inside front side of the water tub 42 into a rotary drum 43 by a circulation pump 67; a hot water heater 72 for heating washing water arranged at the bottom of the water tub 42; temperature detection means 73 for detecting a temperature of washing water in the water tub 42; a lint filter 65 disposed on the inside lower front side of a washing machine housing 41 and removable from outside; control means 82 for controlling each of the processes including washing, rinsing, and dewatering. In a washing process, while the hot water heater 72 is energized and the circulation pump 67 is driven and when the temperature of washing water detected by the temperature detection means 73 becomes a prescribed temperature or greater, the control means 82 stops driving of the circulation pump 67 only and performs prescribed process operations. Thus, the user is prevented from being burned and a high safety can be achieved. |
